Pictorial Draughting

What you will learn

This module gives you fundamental skills on the drawing-board. The skills you learn here are the foundation for all advanced levels. No matter how specialised you become during your career, these core conventions are the basis for any technical drawing.

  • Ink Drawing

Drawing Board Skills

This is a drawing-board subject and you will not use CAD for the exam. (Although we do sneak in some CAD practice for some of the learning-outcomes.)

  • All the basics for technical drawing – line-work, layout, construction and letter-work
  • Ink-Drawing

Examples of Student Work

Project assignments include drawing board and some CAD work.
